Park Rules

Here below, please find our simple park rules to abide by:

  • No exterior lighting allowed! To maintain the dark sky of Terlingua, we require that all exterior lighting be extinguished after their required use. This means:
    • No porch lights left on all night.
    • No running lights.
    • No accent or undercarriage lighting.
    • Be aware of where your lights are shining when your arrive and depart.
  • All RVs and motorhomes must be road ready, licensed and have current insurance and registration.
  • Park Management reserves the right to refuse service to any RV based upon its appearance or condition.
  • Quiet hours are between 10 pm and 8 am.
  • Five (5) MPH speed limit in the park for all motorized vehicles
  • NO SUBLETTING.
  • All overnight guests must register with the park.
  • RV Owners are responsible for any and all damages caused by themselves or their guest(s).
  • The park is not responsible for loss, damage or injury due to fire, accident, theft, weather, or catastrophic events
  • Management reserves the right to refuse services, ask visitors to vacate, or deny access to anyone under any circumstances it deems necessary. There will be no refunds if asked to leave the park.
  • All sewer hoses MUST be up on a support. Park is NOT responsible for unsupported hoses and damage done during maintenance.
  • Appliances will NOT be allowed outside your RV.
  • Premises must always be kept clean and neat. No junk or trash.
  • Household trash MUST BE thrown away in the dumpster(s) provided. No job site dumping, no furniture, appliances, or anything other than household trash will be allowed.   Do not leave trash outside in your site over night!
  • Texas law mandates the use of a sewer hose seal (threaded connector/rubber donut) – this is Mandatory
  • ALL water hoses and connections should be leak-free.
  • There are no refunds for early departure.
  • ALL reservations must be paid for in advance and via this website.
  • All Pay on Arrival reservations must be paid in full on arrival.
  • For holiday and event weekend reservations, guests must cancel 7 days prior to check-in in order to get a full refund.  Cancelling within 7 days results in a full forfeit of the reservation cost.
  • Vehicle repair and maintenance is not allowed at the RV sites.
  • All empty RV sites are subject to rental: NO parking at any time and please do not allow awnings or any possessions to impede empty RV sites.
  • NO ground fires, NO fireworks, and NO illegal firearms are allowed in the park. The discharge of any firearm is grounds for immediate eviction from the park.
  • Illegal drugs, as identified by the State of Texas, are prohibited in the park.
  • Public intoxication, vandalism, theft, domestic violence, and/or disorderly conduct will NOT be tolerated inside the park. Management reserves the right to refuse any guest from public consumption of alcohol in an of the common areas. 
  • Our RV Park has a zero-tolerance policy for ANY drug use or activity. No warnings will be given to guests if drug use or other activities are observed. We will contact the authorities if such activity is suspected on park grounds.
  • Parents are responsible for the conduct, safety, and wellbeing of their children.
  • Parents are financially responsible for any damages perpetrated by their children.
  • Children under the age of 10 must always be accompanied by an adult in public areas of the park.
  • Aggressive dogs of any breed are not permitted. If your dog displays protective or unfriendly behavior towards strangers, we kindly request that you do not bring them to our park. If such behavior is observed, we may (at our sole discretion) ask the owner and the dog to leave.
  • Registered service dogs are welcome at our park and are subject to the same rules and restrictions listed here.
  • We welcome a maximum of two dogs per site.
  • All dogs must have documentation of current vaccinations. We may ask you to provide copies of vaccination records to our office before you check in.
  • All dogs must be under their owners’ control and visual supervision at all times. Please do not leave dogs unattended or tied up outside.
  • Except in designated off-leash dog park amenity areas, all dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet anytime they are outside.
  • Non-service dogs are not allowed in common-area buildings or pool areas. Registered service dogs must be wearing visible tags to enter these areas.
  • Disruptive, excessive, or uncontrolled barking is not allowed. If barking persists and becomes a nuisance to fellow guests, we may (at our sole discretion) ask the owner and the dog to leave.
  • Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and properly disposing of pet waste in designated bins.
  • Pet owners are responsible for any injuries, damage, or disturbances caused by their pets to other guests, park staff, or visitors.
  • TGTRVP is not responsible for the safety of your dog(s), or for any loss, damage, or injury caused to or by our four-legged guests.
