Fantastic place to park your rv, fabulous views. The site was level and the hook ups were well maintained (we were full hook up). We didn’t need to use the toilets provided so can’t comment. Location is between the state and national parks so perfect for exploring both. Good restaurants next door and a couple of miles to gas station and shop. We booked online and the arrangements were excellent, lots of information provided. So we could just turn up, hook up and enjoy. We would happily have stayed in this magical place called Terlingua but we are visiting from England and had to move on. Maybe we can come back one day.

We stayed at TGRVP, end of April into early May on 2026, in a fifth wheel. Staff was very helpful and friendly at check in and with local information and directions. Water, sewer, electricity worked as should. RV park was neat, clean, and tidy. The skies were dark and the stars were beautiful. We will park when we come back in this area.

Easy reservation and hookups, views of the mountains, great night sleep. Extremely clean. Site would appear not level but just needed to scooch back and we were in good shape. Entrance sign was a bit tricky to find, missed it on the first pass but we were still able to turn 38′ around easily and find it on the 2nd pass. Super close to the west side of the park.

We enjoyed it stay here. Beautiful surroundings and wonderful night skies. Doesn’t hurt to have a bar and grill and a breakfast place almost on the premises.

This is conveniently located right on the road to the ghost town area👻 It’s an easy walk🚶🏻‍♂️ It is modern. The sites are large and easy access. Very nicely arranged with good hookups. Everything is automated so you will do it online or by calling. There isn’t really an office or check in location. You arrive and find your site and set up. 😃 You will receive text alerts. There are no facilities, there are no frills, except possibly a hose at your campsite.💦 They are all full hookups💩 And it’s not inexpensive…🤑 It can be double the cost of other nearby RV parks, of which there are several. The advantage, especially if you have a motorhome, is the ability to just walk to the Ghost 👻 Town cemetery 🪦 restaurants 🍽️🥞🍺and general store.🚶🏻‍♂️

Getting There: It’s right off a highway so very easy to get to. It was a tad bit confusing for us at first when we pulled in because there’s no office to check in at and a little bit confusing as to where to go, but we got it’s also not a large park so it all makes sense pretty quick. Customer Service/Checking In: As someone who’s used to strict check in/out times, I had called the day prior to find out how soon we could get there since we were only about 2 hours away and had an early check out at the prior place. The guy was pretty casual, I got more of a “You can come whenever, I’m sure they’ll be gone by then”. When we arrived there wasn’t anyone around and no office so we weren’t sure what we were supposed to do. We just went to our spot and set up, hoping all was well. Eventually I saw the guy outside and he said he’d be by later with some goodies. True to his word, he knocked on our door with a sheet with area suggestions, stickers, and coasters. Very nice guy!! Site #: 22 Level: Site was level, no blocks needed. Electric/Water/Sewer: Everything worked great Noise Level: This is pretty remote so for the most part it was quiet. That said, a neighbor trailer (not in the park, but right up next to it) has a few dogs that stay outside most of the time and bark a lot as well as fight with each other. It can be a little unpleasant. But when the dogs are inside, it’s really peaceful. Interior Roads: It’s a small park so no ‘interior roads’ per se. At first we didn’t know where to go, so we felt a little confused. There’s no easy to see ‘lanes’ and all the landscape is the same tan color so it’s hard to initially make out. But once you’re in, it’s easy. Pet Experience: As long as your dog doesn’t mind pooping on dirt/rocks, it’s all good. Admittedly, when we were there it was pretty empty so there was a lot of space to walk dogs. But if it were full, it might be a little chaotic. Also, there are no pet waste stations so if you rely on them for poop bags, plan in advance and pick up a bag before you go. Overall Pros: Great views, no frills so not a lot of kids/chaos, great location; we really enjoyed our time here. Overall Cons: It’s dusty. The rocks at our site are pretty big which made walking around our site in flip flops kinda tough. Would I return: Absolutely!
